Here's a tiny, very badly captured video showing simple artwork, scrolling, animation and collisions. If you can tell, I need a better screen capture program...fail.

If you havent already tried, give Fraps a try. Its a video capturing program. The free version only captures 30 seconds at a time but its worth picking up the full version.
